интервью The Hollywood Reporter Чарли Брукер подтвердил, что будущее «Чёрного зеркала» все еще остаётся светлым. Несмотря на свой уход из Netflix, у него уже накопилось немало идей для 8 сезона. Правда, на вопрос о том, как именно он будет работать над проектом в случае продления, Брукер предпочёл тактично увиливать и не отвечать прямо.
Он также подтвердил, что интерактивный фильм «Bandersnatch» должен вернуться в библиотеку Netflix, возможно, в новом формате.
А ещё дал понять, что формат шоу теперь выглядит более гибким: помимо новых историй возможны и прямые продолжения. По его словам, успех «Plaything» и «USS Callister: Into Infinity» доказал, что зрители готовы к таким экспериментам, и сериал способен существовать не только как антология, но и как вселенная со своими сиквелами.

interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Charlie Brooker confirmed that the future of «Black Mirror» still looks bright. Despite his departure from Netflix, he has already accumulated plenty of ideas for Season 8. However, when asked how exactly he would work on the project if it gets renewed, Brooker tactfully dodged the question without giving a direct answer.
He also confirmed that the interactive film «Bandersnatch» is set to return to the Netflix library, possibly in a new format.
He also made it clear that the show's format now looks more flexible: alongside brand-new stories, direct continuations are also possible.
