wear resistance, appearance, lightness, flexibility, moisture-proof, heat-proof and steam-conducting properties, comfort to wear.
There are three large groups of methods for fixing the bottom of shoes:
I. Mechanical methods of fastening
Fastening the bottom of the Shoe is carried out using various plantar fasteners (threads, nails, screws, etc.). these methods include: nail, screw, Welt, Doppel, sandal, eversion, etc.;
II. Chemical methods of fastening
Fixing the bottom of the Shoe is carried out due to a chemical reaction (adhesion) between the materials. These methods include: glue, injection, line-injection, press vulcanization, etc.;
III. Combined methods of fastening
Fixing the bottom of the Shoe is carried out by a combination of methods of the first two groups (mechanical + chemical). These methods include: nail-glue, Welt-stitch, Welt-bracket, Welt-glue, Doppel-glue, stitch-glue, glue-stitching, etc.
I. Mechanical fastening methods
Nail method
The sole is attached to the insole through the substrate and the tightening edge of the top blank with nails.

work shoes sole with nail fastening method
The nail method of fixing the sole is a well-proven, well-known inexpensive work shoes . The nail method of fixing the sole and heels is the oldest and most reliable method of fastening. Shoes created using this technology have special strength and wear resistance. Many industrial enterprises of various industries and agriculture prefer to buy such shoes for their employees , as the most reliable and cheap. The essence of the nail method is that the blank top is connected to the sole and heel with nails. The soles and heels are rubber molded. Steel or brass nails of various sizes are used for fastening. The nail heads should sink 1-2 mm into the rubber sole. Nails pass vertically through the thickness of the materials to be bonded and their ends should be bent on the insole by 2-4 mm. The material of the nail also affects the wear resistance, for example, the steel nail is subject to internal factors such as corrosion, while the brass nail is not subject to corrosion, thereby extending the service life of the safety shoes. Shoes of the nail method of fastening are made of yuft or in a combination of yuft+kirza, with a reinforced granitolevy (50J) or metal (100 j) toe. It is possible to use oil-and fuel-resistant and heat-resistant soles that have oil-resistant properties.
