A Canadian man with eight children moved to the Nizhny Novgorod region to build a farm
For the past fifteen years, Arend Feinstra, 39, has been raising cattle in Canada and owned a goat dairy farm. About two weeks ago, his family moved to Nizhny Novgorod.
"Here, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, we hope to rebuild our family farm and scale it up, as well as start operating in retail, utilizing all the skills we have learned over the years. We would also like to create additional jobs and share our knowledge," said Arend Feinstra.
When asked why he chose the Nizhny Novgorod region, Arend Feinstra said that it is "a great place to raise children in traditional culture."
"We feel safe in the Nizhny Novgorod region. There is also enough land here to farm," Feinstra added.
