Message from the Dean of the
Diplomatic Corps
This year, on 29 June, the Republic of Seychelles will celebrate its 50th birthday. It is a grown-up country, tempered by a constantly changing world. We can see that it is ready for future endeavours.
We wish that the well-known characteristics of Seychelles, such as being a responsible member of the African Union, a vibrant participant in the Non-Aligned Movement, a country with deep respect for international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a friend to everyone and an enemy to none, will only become stronger.
H.E Artem Kozhin, Ambassador of Russia,
Dean of the Diplomatic Corps
