⚡️⚡️✈️ A Russian Il-76 exploded or was shot down over Belgorod.
An Il-76 military transport plane crashed at about 11:00 am in the Korochansky district of the Belgorod region. All 74 people on board were killed.
▪️The Russian Min of Defense reported that there were allegedly “65 Ukrainian prisoners of war intended for exchange” on board.
Kremlin propagandists even published online a “list of prisoners” who were allegedly on board the Il-76. However, as UNIAN found out, the data of at least 17 people from this list coincides with those who were exchanged on January 3.
▪️The exchange of prisoners of war really should have taken place on the border of the Belgorod region. However, the Il-76 was flying in the opposite direction.
According to the Ukrainian OSINT analyst Skrinka Pandori, the crashed plane, numbered RA-78830, flew through Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea and Iran, disappeared from radar near Syria, and then appeared over Belgorod, where it exploded in the air.
