I came back from work yesterday and found something frustrating in my Telegram group.

A member had sent suspicious links that looked like phishing and porn sites.

The account itself even appeared to have been hacked because the content was completely out of character.

What made it worse?

I had deleted similar messages and images just the previous day.

I had also made 7+ people admins when I created the group but at that moment nobody was active to remove the links.

That is when it hit me:

Human moderators cannot be online 24/7.

So I went to work angry.

And then I built a solution.

@IKEMBUBOT

A Telegram bot built to automatically guard groups by detecting and deleting unwanted links from unauthorized members.

The best part?

Other Telegram group owners can use it too.

A real problem.
A real solution.
A product born from frustration.

Sometimes you do not need to look for ideas.

The problem annoying you might be your next product.

🚨 Built something for every group admin dealing with spam links: ikembubot

If you run a Telegram group especially in crypto/Web3 you know the problem.

The second your group starts growing, spam bots and scammers flood it with phishing links, fake airdrops and random promo spam.

Manually deleting every one is exhausting and by the time you catch it, someone's already clicked.

So I built a bot to handle it automatically.

ikembubot watches every message in your group.

If it contains a link and the sender isn't an admin, it's gone instantly, no manual moderation needed.

Admins can still post links freely (announcements, resources, whatever you need) and every group gets its own settings, independent of any other group using the bot.

What it does:

✅ Auto-deletes links from non-admins

✅ /toggle ; turn it on or off anytime

✅ /whitelist add [domain] ; approve trusted sites (like your own site, YouTube, etc.) so those links stay allowed

✅ Free, and any group owner can use it ; no setup beyond adding it as admin

The real win here isn't just the bot working it's that this is entirely open source.

Any admin can add @ikembubot to their group today and anyone curious about how it works can go look at the code directly.

Add it, make it admin with delete permissions and spam links stop being your problem.
