The International Institute of Humanitarian Law (San-Remo, Italy) invites academics, university lecturers, and international law professionals to take part in the 10th Online Course on Teaching Refugee Law for Academics and Trainers.
About the course
The course focuses on how to teach international refugee law effectively, rather than on the legal content itself. Participants will learn how to design academic curricula and training programmes, deliver online and in-person sessions, apply innovative teaching methodologies, and use practical learning tools.

Applicants are expected to have prior knowledge of international law and a good command of English.
Course details:
🔔Duration: 4 weeks (14 September – 8 October 2026)
📱Format: Interactive and self-paced online sessions, including lectures, practical exercises, group work, peer-to-peer learning, and collaboration with participants worldwide
🕒️ Time: 12:00–14:00 CEST
🌐 Language: English
💰Participation: Fee-based; a limited number of scholarships are available and will be allocated through a selection process following the application deadline
📜Certificate: A Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who attend the live online sessions and complete the required assignments
