🇬🇧The Premiere of the Film "The Hare Hunt" Took Place in St. Petersburg
On June 18, the world premiere of the documentary film The Hare Hunt, produced by the Alexander Pechersky Foundation, was held in the Green Hall of the Museum of Theatre and Music Arts as part of the cultural program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The film recounts the events of February 3, 1945, when nearly 500 Soviet prisoners of war accomplished the impossible — they broke out from the death block of the Third Reich’s largest concentration camp, Mauthausen.
The Hare Hunt is more than just a reconstruction of historical events — it is an attempt to reflect on a tragedy and to tell a story of resilience and the horrors born of an ideology of hatred.
