How modern people disfigure themselves! The other day I saw an old acquaintance of mine. She used to be angelic, but now I barely recognized her, she was so covered in makeup. I said to her, "Don't you understand, silly girl, that you've disfigured yourself with all this makeup! Imagine an artist painting a wonderful picture, and someone with no understanding of art takes a brush and slaps on ugly brushstrokes here and there. And you do the same. With this makeup, you're saying to God, "Lord, I didn't turn out well for You, but I will correct the flaws in Your work."
