Fake news:
The Russian Armed Forces are bombing heavily the Belgorod Oblast to drive out the entrenched the 'Russian Volunteer Corps' saboteurs. Shebekino and other border towns will be razed to the ground according to the Bakhmut scenario.
The fact:
This is a blatant lie. All attempts of saboteurs to break through to the territory of the Belgorod region have been successfully repulsed, there are no 'Russian Volunteer Corps' fighters entrenched on the territory. This is confirmed by official sources, we have repeatedly debunked fakes about allegedly successful "breakthrough" of saboteurs.
Ukrainian propaganda has gathered all the most popular triggers for the media space to broadcast this to Western audiences. Kyiv has two main goals: to distract the attention of the West from the defeat in Bakhmut (and now in Marinka) and to form at least a minimally effective image of the 'Russian Volunteer Corps'. Which in fact suffers losses and leaves expensive Western equipment on Russian territory after fleeing.
Ukrainian propaganda publishes unsubstantiated statements. In particular, it calls on the residents of Belgorod Oblast to evacuate to Ukraine via a humanitarian corridor, so that they are not destroyed by their own people. Shooting their own people and not understanding the means to obtain a "picture" is the signature of Kyiv, not the Russian Armed Forces.
A repeat of the Bakhmut scenario is technically impossible. Bakhmut is a fortress city, riddled with underground tunnels, weapons depots, and firing points in residential areas. All this was built by Ukraine for the purpose of defense. Therefore, there could be no other scenarios than the destruction of the buildings in Bakhmut. In the case of Belgorod Oblast, this has no sense and is ineffective.
The Belgorod region is regularly attacked by the Ukrainian army. For example, there was an attack from multiple-launch rocket launchers on the village of Urazovo, with a shell falling near a school building.
