ranked 5 on the daily leaderboard. lets see if i can repeat taking the top spot or if that was a one-time occurrence.

am excited for the rollout of all-time PnL leaderboard. to see where i stand against the competition. goal is to be frequently in the top 20, like i did for the last 8 months on fomo.

i aim for consistency. not for single kingmaker trades. slow and steady. relentless upcreep is what an ideal PnL graph looks for me.

small wins, small losses, big wins, no big losses. thats the prototype.

my callout history. nothing spectacular so far.

it counts from moment to callout to ATH. could debate if a „close callout“ feature would make sense.

cashcat timing aged well.

callout feature on pf app pretty interesting. gave feedback to the team that we need mc or price displayed at any update of the callout. or even mark it in the chart. that would be a banger

angel numbers challenge still on. will need to do a catch-up post to account for the transactions not logged (my side-quest in stocks, and the stuff on fomo app). mad at myself that i let it slip and stopped logging, but still okay since all trades (except stocks) were public on fomo or y22.sol / y22.eth.

at least i am not one of these pseudo challenge traders who only provide screenshots and no doxxed wallets. zero respect for that. but still, should have keep logging in my diary. it is what it is now.

status quo:
am heavily allocated atm. 2/3 volatile assets and 1/3 cash.

holdings:
150m PUMP
1.41m CASHCAT
550k USD

the twitter translate feature is really great. finally being able to engage with our peers in china and korea is a blessing. met some great people. 🙏

𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭

here is a set of rules i think are good guidance to navigate the upcoming bull market.

𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧
if a trade goes against you do not buy more on the way down. this is a recipe to get rekt (in aggressive narrative trading at least, might be different in building a longterm btc position). the market is showing you that your thesis or your timing is wrong, do not fight the market. do not fall into the illusion to think you are right and everybody else is wrong, because most of the time you are not. or in the words of Paul Tudor Jones: "losers average losers".

𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭
always keep your eyes forward and think about the next shot. do not entertain thoughts of "what if" and indulge in revisionist history thinking ala "if i had held y longer i would be up x amount of money". what is done is done, focus on the next shot. the same goes if you had hit a winner and are up fat. many people stay still and admire their shot instead of focussing of what other shots they might miss while doing this. best shooters have the worst memory.

𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲
distance yourself from people who get defensive and butthurt when their trades are challenged or a contrary opinion about their investment is voiced. a good operator tries to see things from all angles and is always open to steelman a bear case. especially dangerous are groupchats where bears get ridiculed and discouraged to voice their opinion, the result of this is an echo bubble. leave these groups.

𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐓
CT at its core has a very distorted view of money. whenever market puts a first green candle in people are freaking out and fall into some kind of psychosis about money and how much they gonna make. you can see it already starting with people tweeting about being in "7-figure hell'. unfollow / block these accounts, they will lead to a distorted view of money for yourself and open up the door for all kinds of bias traps. the same goes for all the people who always hindsight post how they are in all the runners and are up huge but forgot to voice their opinion before the asset went +200%. there is a huge amount of larps and liars on CT, and the result for many new entrants is that they get trapped in some kind of fata morgana where it seems everybody but themselves is winning huge. the results is often excessive risk taking and total loss of NW as a consequence.

𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬
stay in your lane and stick to your protocol, no matter what others are doing or how much somebody else is winning. there will always be somebody who wins extreme amounts of money by reckless betting. but thats survivorship bias at work here, because for everybody like this that you see are 10 dead bodies who lost it all. your NW will always regress to the level of your process (read that again, this is a very important concept to understand). profits made by excessive risk taking will be lost by excessive risk taking. live by the sword, die by the sword.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞
good decisions can have bad outcomes and still be good decisions, and vice versa. due to the influence of luck, chance and variance the quality of a decision cannot be judged by its immediate outcome. therefore do not categorize decisions by how much money they made or lost. think deeper, simulate outcomes for more than one possible outcome. the goal is to constantly make good decisions.

there is a bit more nuance to all of these, but you will figure it out if you want to. these are my basics. goodluck, see you in the order books.

Smartestmoney’s HYPE long has now exceeded $100M in notional, with more than $40M in unrealized PnL.

He’s been holding the position since October last year and has sat through a $26M drawdown in unrealized PnL earlier this year.

He’s also paid almost $5M in funding fees to keep the long open until today.

good look so far. lets force all the seasonality guys to buy back higher

i reckon this new cycle will play out 90% on-chain. new users get onboarded through tiktok straight into pf app and fomo and they denominate in USDC instead of SOL and give no fuck about boomer bitcoin.

think all the people who are waiting for a BTC move before getting involved and are convinced that a „wealth effect“ in form of trickle-down flows from majors are needed before on-chain can really gear up are dead wrong and about to miss out on half the cycle.

BTC a tradFi asset now, CEX alts have zero flows because perp traders trade eq perps now, the L1 trade is dead because block space is commoditized now. this next cycle will be the reign of on-chain.

i feel the same. and honestly i think glorifying persons and allowing them to become the gatekeeper and the arbiter of truth for on-chain is a net negative. Ansem tried this before during celebrity meta and this is another attempt at this. no shade, but i think this is a net negative for on-chain.

kinda a joke if we consider our roots, permissionless and decentralized financial systems and all.

btc not a bad look atm.

we had saylor selling, Iran war re-acceleration, clarity act postponed. none of them could break 60k. i am in the camp that we are at the brink of a bull market and many people are offside expecting another leg down based on seasonality or bear market ptsd.

am cautiously optimistic. that BTC (and general market in extension) is climbing the wall of worry.

anybody has an opinion on that?

truth is this: when holders / believers get nonstop punished they will stop doing what they doing at some point and become scalpers / swing traders as well. the result will be a race to the bottom as ceilings become lower and lower and rotations become faster and faster.

its a symbiotic relationship. without believers eating scalpers, swing traders, rotators will also get diminished results and will go out of business at some point.

thats the reason nobody really wants to put his opinion out here. because you will get clowned hard when you‘re wrong. perfect breeding ground for an echo bubble, when people get scared to voice an unpopular opinion.

and when you express a contrary opinion to a coin some people that are holding the asset spoken of get emotional and start calling you slurs. like the above guy, marscoin holder.

people speak through their pockets. another example: two weeks back i one-clipped 100k of $AI and had half of wagmiwarriors fnf crashing out in the comment section.

fucking circus here.

top traders realized on binance life

good counter point to this:

i could be right, i could be wrong. i am not playing. i think there is no edge in forecasting crime. nobody from us can see in CZ head. its gambling.

i just think Binance is inclined to list stuff on Aster and thats it, instead of listing stuff on main CEX
