Twist (тви́ст) – a sudden change in a story that surprises you. To turn something, like twisting a rope or your ankle. A small unexpected change in a situation.

Plot (пло́т) – the main events in a story or movie. A small piece of land or garden. The plan of something, like a secret plan or scheme.

Climax (клай́макс) – the most exciting or important part of a story. The highest or best point of something. The moment of greatest intensity in an event or experience.

Tension (тéншн) – feeling nervous or excited about what happens next in a story. Stress in your muscles or in a situation. A feeling of disagreement or conflict between people.

Reveal (риви́л) – showing something secret or hidden in a story. To make something known, like revealing a photo or idea. The part of a costume that is uncovered, like in fashion or design.
