If we are talking about what is happening now, then this is, of course, the result of yet another adventure by the Kiev regime and its Western handlers, who set out to inflict yet another “strategic defeat” on Russia — this time, as is known, within 40 days and with the help of massive missile and UAV strikes against our civilian facilities and logistics.

The publicly declared goal was to destroy entire sectors of our country’s economy, undermine the unity of our people and the cohesion of Russian society. In general, the goal was to bring about the collapse of Russia, something they have long dreamed of and constantly talk about. As is known, that 40-day period expired on August 5.

And what, one may ask, is the result? Of course, strikes against civilian, effectively undefended facilities and, most importantly, against civilians cause economic damage to our country and result in casualties. And the loss of every person, I want to emphasize, is always a tragedy — for their family, their loved ones and the entire country. We know very well that the Nazis of the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War, and the neo-Nazis of today, took and, apparently, continue to take particular satisfaction and pleasure in committing such crimes, and we see that these crimes continue.
