Setting the stage
💪 This is the opening post for what I expect to become the most lasting series on the channel. I’m not going to just voluminously praise video games for giving me so much joy in this life – that would be too obvious. Rather, I want to focus on some of the less discussed sides of gaming. Or not discussed at all, for that matter…
To give you a general idea of how it’s going to go down, I’d like to present to you some of the questions:
1️⃣ Why do some people never play games? (are you one of those people?)
2️⃣ Why are video games incompatible with the human condition? (actually, it’s not only about video games, there’s a lot of other things with the same property…)
3️⃣ How to realize that you don’t want to play a certain game? (you probably don’t know that…)
4️⃣ Why do graphics in video games matter? (and it’s not what you think…)
5️⃣ Why might video games be the most profound and potentially infinitely unique phenomenon in the whole universe? (and it’s also not what you think, it’s much deeper than that…)
