CLOSED A $8,000 Deal! 🔔
$2k/mo, 4-month contract signed.
This is a small organic food brand who were working with a FB ads agency that was losing her money every month and the founder was desperately looking for a change.
Offered them Paid ads + CRO + Email marketing setup.
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦:
Subject line: Short 2-3 words, lower caps. This allows to break the monotony in their inbox and catch their attention.
Body: Generally keep it concise, not too formal, and to the point. You don't want your prospects to have to scroll to read the entirety of your message.
1. Icebreaker: 1-2 lines to show that you've taken your time to do your homework on them particularly. Typically, I try to find articles/interviews/podcasts on the founder/brand and mention any specific insight. My goal with these first lines is to feed the prospect’s ego as much as possible, talk about something they want to hear.
2. Introduction: A quick brief about yourself and your agency. Mention your unique selling proposition (USP) and how it can benefit their business. Don't sound too salesy, goal is to always come across as a friend.
3. Social proof: Share a success story or case study of how your service has helped a similar business. This establishes credibility and shows that you can deliver results.
4. Call to action (CTA): Give them a clear & compelling next step to take. Keep it low commitment to ensure maximum engagement such as asking them to view a case study, loom audit, or a 15-minute discovery call. You can't straight away ask for a 45-minute sales call. People are likely to slowly increase their interest or commitment gradually. Similar to how you wouldn't ask a girl to marry you on the first date.
Also, there should only be one CTA. Humans are dumb and have sheep-like behavior. They act as they are told and giving two or more options confuses them.
