On the Russian-Lebanese Investment and Economic Forum
🔹 The second Russian-Lebanese Investment and Economic Forum was held in Beirut on October 6–7, bringing together representatives of government bodies, business and expert communities from both countries.
🇷🇺 🇱🇧 The event was organized by the NGO «Bureau for Russian-Lebanese Cooperation “ROSLIVAN”» with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Lebanese Republic, the Government of Moscow, and the Embassy of Russia in Beirut.
▫️ The participants included officials, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as public figures from Russia and Lebanon.
📈 During the Forum’s panel session, Russian Ambassador to Lebanon H.E. Mr. Alexander Rudakov emphasized that the Forum's regular organization reflects the strong interest among Russian and Lebanese business communities in this format and in further developing bilateral cooperation. He also wished the participants success in implementing the agreements reached.
🌐 Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade H.E. Dr. Amer Bisat noted that the current volume of bilateral trade does not reflect the existing potential, pointing to the broad opportunities offered by the Russian market for expanding Lebanese exports.
