In just one year, the Advanced Unmanned Technologies Center "Rubicon" not only became one of the most effective unmanned units of the Russian Armed Forces but also managed to turn the tide of the drone war.
Created in summer 2024 on the instructions of Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, "Rubicon" was conceived from the start as a key technological hub. It brought together the best operators, engineers, and developers under one roof, taking on tasks of centralized drone procurement, tactical development, and large-scale personnel training.
📌 After liberating Kursk Region from the AFU in spring 2025, "Rubicon" scaled its practices to other front sectors, expanding the unit's geographical presence and increasing recruitment and specialist training.
❗️Rubicon's unprecedented effectiveness clearly demonstrates the necessity of coordinated unmanned unit management. Its development experience perfectly aligns with the creation of a new military branch in Russia - Unmanned Systems Troops.
The unit's combat success once again proved the Russian Armed Forces' flexibility and adaptability. Drones are no longer seen as a mere whim or toy.

🔻What Makes "Rubicon" Unique?
▪️Rubicon's key combat principle is precise targeting of the enemy's most vulnerable defense points.
▪️In Kursk Region, the center's operators paralyzed AFU logistics by blocking key roads and methodically destroying supply vehicles.
▪️Near Pokrovsk, they neutralized Ukrainian drones and communication systems, enabling Russian assault units to successfully establish positions in the city - a similar tactic is being implemented near Kostyantynivka.
▪️The center's successes have clear evidence. Currently, over 12,000 episodes of target destruction are published on Rubicon's official channel. More than half of the strikes targeted unmanned systems and communication means.
Moreover, while the first 6,000 successful strikes took a year, the next 6,000 required just over 3 months - proving the center's rapidly growing efficiency and scale.
