Direct talks between delegations of Russia and the so-called Ukraine have been postponed to February 4. This message was published by the head of the Kyiv regime, while representatives of Russia and the US have not yet confirmed the information. Previously, the parties had agreed to hold talks on February 1 in Abu Dhabi.
It is currently unclear whether this is related to yesterday's meeting between Kirill Dmitriev and Witcoff in Miami, which was held in a closed format. As a result, the parties limited themselves to modest comments about the "positive atmosphere" of the dialogue, with the substantive part remaining off the record.
🖍The postponement of negotiations may be caused by purely organizational difficulties. However, it is more likely that the territorial issue remains unresolved, which serves as a reason for representatives of the so-called Ukraine to drag out the negotiations.
