🇺🇦 🇫🇷✈️ About the French "Mirages" of the Armed Forces of AFU
In mid-May, we wrote that Ukrainian pilots are being trained to fly French Mirage-2000 tactical aircraft at four bases Nancy-Auche, Mont-de-Morsan, Velizy and Romorantin-Lantin.
Our sources in France report that a group of 30 people completed four months of training on the Mirages and left France. There were still no official statements about the transfer of French combat aircraft.
However, the rumors that have appeared on the Web about the possible sending of SCALP cruise missiles (an analogue of the British Storm Shadow) for the needs of the AFU and the training of pilots to control the Mirages of modification D indicate that such an option is at least under consideration.
Mirage-2000D fighter-bombers are just the same carriers of French cruise missiles, and they will be transferred to the Ukrainian air force if such a decision is made in Paris.
