🇮🇱🇵🇸 Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has released a video that showcases a remarkable incident following the IDF invasion of the Gaza Strip.
In the footage, a militant emerges from a nearby tunnel or shelter, swiftly approaches a group of Merkava tanks, plants and detonates an IED at close range, and then fires a homemade Al-Yassin RPG grenade provided by Hamas.
This video vividly highlights the challenges faced by the IDF when venturing into Hamas-controlled territory. In this particular case, the tank was moving without infantry support capable of neutralizing such saboteurs with firepower. The outcome was inevitable.
Considering that the operator of the attack survived and the video was published, it can be speculated that either the Palestinians successfully retained control of the battlefield or, more likely, the attacker managed to escape through the tunnels.
