🇺🇦🇫🇷 Desertions in the AFU: the example of the "French" brigade
In recent days, the Ukrainian segment has been discussing the scandal in the 155th Mechanized Brigade: from the unit trained in France, for the creation of which €900 million was spent, almost a third of the personnel fled.
Statements by activists of the Kyiv regime and the deserters themselves from the AFU provide the following picture of the events, illustrating the current problems of Ukrainian formations:
▪️Even before being sent to the French training ground, 935 people fled from the new brigade, since it was manned with "busified" citizens, whose motivation was accordingly.
▪️Being in France resembled a prison, where the territory of the unit was guarded with the help of guard dogs and drones to prevent escapes. The training itself was insufficient - part of the personnel were not taught anything at all.
▪️Upon arrival in the so-called Ukraine, there was a wave of desertions, the number of which exceeded 1,700 episodes. As a result, the 155th Mechanized Brigade suffered heavy losses in the Pokrovsk direction, and videos with prisoners from the brigade regularly appear on the Internet.
By the way, similar problems exist in other "new" formations: for example, the other day, there was a mass escape of personnel from the 156th Mechanized Brigade, with squad and platoon commanders being the initiators.
📌 As we wrote in recent months, the main problem of the AFU today is manpower: if the so-called Ukraine can still get equipment and money from sponsors, no one will give them people. And without them, the Kyiv regime will not be able to wage war.
