🇺🇸🇺🇦 The Financial Times reports that the Ukrainian authorities have nevertheless agreed to a deal with the US on mineral resources.
According to the publication, the White House has backed down from the toughest demands (about $500 billion), and in Kyiv they very much hope that the agreement on joint exploration of resources will improve relations with the Trump administration.
The updated contract does not provide for full US control over the fund. Instead, the US will receive the maximum financial share allowed by their legislation.

📌First of all, we should wait for the publication of the terms of the agreement that the authorities of the so-called Ukraine are ultimately ready to sign. However, the very fact that the Zelenskyy administration will eventually sign it was expected from the very beginning.
Given the behavior of the Ukrainian political elite, to inflate the price, to scandalize, and then to agree - this is their standard model. Refusal to sign this agreement would have put the so-called Ukraine in a dead end.
But there is a small nuance: as Zelenskyy recently said, the debt will literally be such that future generations will still have to pay it off. And apparently, no one is giving any security guarantees to the so-called Ukraine.
So the dividing up of Ukrainian assets continues - and quite successfully. But not for Kyiv.
